  1. Who else has no money (aka I am not 7 or 8 figures yet), can't afford these Citizenship by Investment program but watches more of Andrews videos when they come out because you find it all fascinating? 🙂

  2. As the popularity and knowledge of these programs goes up, government attention towards them (and the public's) will go up too, its inevitable. Its just a question of time before the EU starts bullying the Caribbean islands too.

  3. Hunn-bunn Andypie looking like prince charming in that handsome suit 😍, keep and stay goody two-shoes sweet prince, always. Xx

  4. I wonder how much of this decision by Cyprus was really influenced by its dispute with Turkey. In order to receive EU backing it requires the Cyprus clamp down on the visa program. Lets see if Cyprus now supports sanctions against Belarus.

  5. Honestly in some countries they expect more than just cash for citizenship. You’ve got to assimilate in some way, either language, accepting their cultural identity and principles, whatever. Europe isn’t the Caribbean or Vanuatu. They don’t run passports as a major part of their GDP. They set the bar where they like, and have every right to. If you don’t like or accept european values, in this case anti corruption, because that what torpedoed this program, then don’t go to Europe. Find somewhere where you feel more comfortable with the demands for citizenship and the principles of governance suit you better.

  6. Great video! I was wondering what you think about Russia in every aspect, from an entrepreneurial perspective, investment and so on. Maybe you can make a video about it, it would be nice, there is not a lot of information online about it.

  7. They will be coming back. There are many super deluxe beach skyscrapers on the coast and other beach mansions there that were selling purely to these passport investors. These are amongst the richest and most influential companies and people in cyprus who control the politicans. Their real estate will go bust with unsold properties that no locals can afford so i expect new program back within 6 months

  8. I was very surprised by this move but then again what the leaders of Cyprus were doing does not surprise me and it should be interesting to see if this program ever relaunches in the future. Anyhow at this point I think people are better off aiming more for second passports in the non-EU European countries if they are desiring to live in Europe. As stated prior I am presently looking at obtaining a second passport via residence in Serbia and am currently planning my move their at moment for next spring. I will be very excited to get out of Estonia and onto greener pastures in short order.

  9. Good old Al Jazeera, the ultimate in righteousness. I always thought the Cyprus program was expensive, but this is not good for CBI. The "journalists" at Al Jazeera did a great job sabotaging an option that worked for some successful entrepreneurs. What a shame.

  10. Dumb decision. They are going to lose out on a TON of money from this in the upcoming years. If anything if I'm running the country I'd be asking people to invest in it and I'd be at the airport shaking hands when they came through. Cyprus would be nothing without foreign investment, and this is a big middle finger to everyone who had been trying to come there. Their loss is another countries gain.

  11. Basically Europe doesn’t want high level people investing and living there, but takes millions of economic migrants that go on the dole. This mentality is only in the west.

  12. Interesting especially as Cyprus was the first country where the bank haircuts took place….they shut the bank, atm's were shut down then they took deposits leaving peoples savings decimated. No refunds given to those who lost life savings and now it looks like they will now start reducing your ability to get other passports as that gives us freedom and they can't have that hence the lockdowns. Can you also remember not all have 7 or 8 figure wealth but we would still love to know how to gain more freedom in order to try to get a 7 or 8 figure weath.

  13. Hello, please I have been making some personal research on the crypto asset Ethereum and I want to begin earning money on Ethereum can anyone help me on how I can begin earning money on Ethereum Investments?

  14. Hey guys, I have been making some personal research on the crypto asset Ethereum and I really want to begin making profits on Ethereum Investments can anyone help me on how I can begin earning money on Ethereum Investments?

  15. I have been going through the ETHEREUM market for sometime now and I have also heard people say they make money on Ethereum Investments, please I'll love to begin making money on Ethereum too, can any one let me know how I can begin?

  16. I think it is almost a common sense intuition on Western world, they will eventually make it harder for anyone to become their citizen, I don’t think their “value speech” is a mere tool to convey rejection toward rich persons, I think it is gonna to be a wave especially for EU to claim for restoring some sense of a European identity for their citizenship, it’s a cultural demand as well. I have this intuition and thus I lock myself to GVP of Portugal instead of the fast stream option like Malta and Cyprus, I also don’t think the money amount is worthy to be spent in such way anyhow, resident path to citizenship save more money and life in general per day, unless you love that particular country too much that you would like to stay in one place forever, otherwise, having a residency first is better, you enjoy the same right on board as their citizens do.

  17. Last time I checked the EU allowed golden visas in many countries.
I might be wrong but money laundering is not a good thing, yet every day someone joins the angry mob against the EU every day for no reason.
Citizen by investment should not cover criminals and money laundering.

  18. It’s funny to see that Ursula von der Leyen now has values. She is a criminal as well, wasting hundreds of millions of tax payers money in Germany while giving high valued consulting projects to KPMG, where her son is working basically in receiving position for this money. Also the Money in Cyprus from this program was misused, as it went manly into pockets of Giovanni and his “property development” mafia swamp!

  19. In Norway it's easy; You go to an AA meeting, and stick out a woman that lives on bare minimum, and you give her an option to marry you for three years, and after three years of proforma-marriage you will have achieved permanent residentship. After that it's only four more years in Norway and you become a Norwegian citizen 🙂

    It's a long haul, but then… 😉

  20. You called it, Andrew. European Commission is taking action against Malta and Cyprus. Transparency International wants them to go after Portugal and Austria too.

  21. Hi from Norway, love your inspiring content. I would very much like to hear your thoughts about the Cyprus non dom tax resident program! This from an outlook of someone thats not looking for another citizenship, but would like to take part in a good tax regime and travel alot for a period of time.

  22. Really interesting video with valuable context that isn't otherwise available from most information sources. That said, you kind of come across as a caricature of a poor man's bond villain. 🙂
